Talent Is Everywhere.
Opportunity Is Not.
Across the country, talented students face systemic barriers to college access, persistence, and completion—especially first-generation students and those from historically underrepresented communities. Without coordinated academic, counseling, and mentoring support, too many students are left navigating higher education alone.
Puente exists to change that reality—at scale, and for the long term.

A National Model for Student Success
Puente’s interdisciplinary model integrates writing-intensive instruction, culturally responsive counseling, and community-based mentoring into a single, cohesive program. Pilot programs are in motion for math, science, and dual-enrollment. We're making a real impact, and have served more than 300,000 students to date.
