Cecilia Caballero

Poet, Writer, Lecturer of Ethnic Studies; Wellness Team

Based in Los Angeles, Cecilia Caballero, PhD, is a poet, writer, and lecturer of Ethnic Studies, and co-editor of the bestselling book The Chicana Motherwork Anthology. As a teaching artist, Cecilia's goal is to cultivate more communal practices and social justice for Puente folks. She has been invited to teach workshops with the Puente Program, East Los Angeles College, Running Mamas, Parenting for Liberation, the Midnight Crisis, Project Fierce House, and more. She earned her PhD in Chicana/o Studies and Ethnicity from the University of Texas at Austin.
