Erica Brenes

Born and raised in Southern California, Erica Brenes is a proud first-generation college graduate, a proud alumna of the community college system, a UCLA Bruin, and a two-time graduate student at CSU Long Beach. A mother to two, a wife, an urban gardener and advocate, Erica is a professor at El Camino College, a teacher trainer, and a doctoral student. Erica wears many hats, but loving, serving, and teaching students remains an important, cherished priority. In her free time, she enjoys reading graphic novels, gardening, and spending time with her family.
