Luke Lara

Dr. Lupe Lara is part of a bicultural, biracial family of musicians and artists that includes Black, Puerto Rican, and Andean roots. He is a Black counseling faculty member at Modesto Junior College and joined Puente as a trainer driven by a love of service and education. Before joining Puente, he completed his doctoral work and has held positions supporting students at multiple institutions.
