Melissa Aguilar has dedicated over two decades of service to the Puente community. She is passionate about mathematics education with a focus on creating culturally responsive and historically accurate math teaching and learning. She is excited to serve the Puente community and is focused on building bridges with community leaders of mathematics education and beyond to transform mathematics education and advance STEM equity work that supports first-generation community college students.
