Writing Professor and Puente Co-Coordinator, Las Positas College
Born in East LA, Michelle Gonzalez is a product of community college, raised by instructors who appreciated and encouraged her cultural wealth. She holds a BA and MFA in English/Creative Writing. She has co-facilitated Puente English workshops and is committed to community teaching. She facilitates workshops with the Puente Program and is deeply invested in culturally sustaining writing instruction for first-generation students.
