Serina Eichenberger

HSS-STEM Projects Director, Cañada College

Serina Eichenberger is a social justice-focused instructor committed to the advancement of STEM opportunities for historically marginalized students. She serves as the Title III STEM Project Director at Cañada College, serving the college's Latinx, Black, Chicanx, Indigenous and other underrepresented communities in their pursuits of STEM careers. She brings over 20 years of experience as an educator and a passion for innovative, equity-centered instruction. Serina has a bilingual teaching background, a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Environmental Studies, and a Master's from San Jose State University in Social Justice Science Education. She is Peruvian, enjoys days at the beach with her family, hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains, growing food, dancing, and live music.
