Congratulations to the Class of 2019 Puente Scholars!

The Puente Project is proud to announce our annual Puente Statewide Academic & Leadership Award recipients. An impressive 171 students throughout California sent in applications that were thoroughly reviewed for academics, community leadership involvement and personal statements.
In order to be considered for the award, applicants had to meet the following eligibility criteria:
Must have been in Puente EnglishOverall academic GPA of a 3.5 or higherBe a full time 12th grade student enrolled in 5 or more academic coursesDemonstrate community leadershipSubmit application on or before September 14, 2018Submit official/unofficial transcript
