"I am so proud to have been nominated and elected as Chair for the Puente Project State Advisory Board. The Puente Project represents a legacy deeply embedded in community leadership and service to help ensure all student participants reach their goals. It is my heartfelt honor to have the opportunity to share what I have learned after working within the Puente familia and in the broader education community on multiple large scale initiatives for many years.  In my new stewardship role, I look forward to helping Puente expand into its next stage along with fellow board members, the many hard working Puente state leaders, high school and community college faculty, staff, mentors, administrators and other key stakeholders who have supported the project for nearly 40 years!

Adelante and Si Se Puede!
