Nohemy Chavez

Nohemy was born and raised in the Salinas Valley to immigrant parents from Guanajuato, MX. Thanks to EAOP and CLYLP, Inc. she was the first in her family to attend a UC and earned a B.S. in Community & Regional Development from UC Davis and a M.S. in Counseling from CSU Sacramento. Nohemy has volunteered and worked for equity and social justice programs her entire career including undocumented students, first-generation students, student parents, and Black and Brown students.
